Day 5 of the current windy spell. My 5.2 needed to be taken to the sailmaker in Kahului for a couple of small repairs so sailed Kanaha. Today's swell forecast was poor but it turned out that there were plentiful boom-high-ish waves. Wind was dodgy in the morning but solidified nicely after lunch. In spite of the waves and decent wind I had one of those sessions where I wasn't properly in the zone. Unlike my last really good session at Kanaha on Saturday 7th I was missing the best of the sets today and often cocking up on the waves I did latch on to. But was still great fun out there.

After what has seemed like an eternity at last a decent sized long period groundswell should be arriving at Maui tomorrow. Wind is forecasted...again...so I'm hoping for a good session.
